In the 1960s, the National Trust made the decision to plant a memorial avenue of trees at Wolston Farmhouse in honour of Karl Langer, a celebrated architect and landscape designer. At that time, visitors were invited to sponsor a tree to help bring the vision to life.
We are delighted to revive this tradition and begin restoring the Avenue of Trees. You can donate to gift a tree and play a part in continuing this living memorial, ensuring the avenue is replenished and preserved for future generations.
